Main?Web Tao
Web Tao is an online (or offline, if you downloaded it) reference and tutorial center for those interested in learning how to make thier own website.
This is not an advanced guide, nor is it an intermediate one. It's meant for people with basic Internet knowledge, and was origenally written to assist people using my diary templates found at PixelScripts. After a while it turned into a full blown guide.
Getting Started
Before you start you should be pretty familar with your computer, and you may wish to purchase a graphics program such as Adobe Photoshop if you wish to produce graphically enhanced websites. However, all you will need to create websites is a basic text editor (such as Notepad, BBEdit, or SimpleText), and a web browser (such as Internet Explorer). If you own a computer, I'm confident that you already own both of these items.
